Troll Toll
An entry for Extra Credits Game Jam 5
Anyone who wants PASSAGE over this bridge must pay the troll's toll.
Troll Toll is all the fun of being a bureaucratic bridge troll! Guard the only bridge in town and make sure all travels pay their correct taxes. Cross examine forms and papers to calculate the correct toll. Make sure your math is right or its coming out of your pay.
This game has been updated since the ending of the Extra Credits Game Jam. I have made a Windows and Mac build if you would like to see it in its original state. This game is also been made open source. If you would like to see the work that was done during the game jam download the Unity Project

I like the theme of this game better than Papers Please, I enjoy the mix of folklore and bureaucracy.
This is a pretty interesting game with some good ol' "Papers Please" vibes. The game is simple enough with the basic challenge of looking at the tax form and the person in question, checking the map, then adding everything up with the tax. My main problem with this is that it is very simple. I made no mistakes as I noticed there was no time limit or anything to add pressure to the player. Though this very well could be intentional from you. Either way I enjoyed my short experience with it, and can see myself playing this for short spurts if and whenever I'm bored.
In the games current state it does lack a challenge and is more of a personal high score of how many people you can process in one day. I have since added new levels that explore a feature with banned items and the ability to deny entry over the bridge. I cant upload a new build while the voting for the game jam is still going on. If you check back once the votes are over I'll have the new build up
